Welcome to a brilliant, colorful world full of adventure and fun. Here in Lego Minifigures Online you can explore a variety of places from Pirates to Alien Planets. Along the way you can collect new minifigures to own as well as bricks to build things with. This is a Lego game after all.
When you first create your account you can choose a set of 3 characters to start with, each set has different characters and you can choose the ones you want. Each minifigure has its own unique look and powers, from the chicken man who can throw eggs to a plumber that uses his plunger to help him fix anything.
The characters are divided into 3 different groups: Defender, Striker and Builder. A Defender is tough and can take a lot of damage without needing to heal. A Striker is a character than can bash your enemies hard, and smash through walls and break things for parts. A Builder is not really for fighting but can take the pieces that you find and make something useful from it.
After you choose your characters you begin to play with the Striker, and are able to really get into this amazing game. And it really is brilliant when you play, the controls are really easy to master and there is a tutorial showing you around. The Internet Guy pops up when you come across something, and he gives you instructions or tips on how you can use your abilities and what to look for.
The world is vibrant and fun while you run around, and there are lots of items you can break to collect stars which you will need later. There will also be enemy minifigures trying to stop you and you defeat them using your special attacks. Each of your characters has 2 abilities and these become more powerful as you upgrade. Though using a builder to fight something is a bad idea as they much prefer to make things.
The stars that you collect from breaking things or completing quests are used to upgrade your minifigures. There are 2 stages to upgrading, you can increase their level and buy them extra passive abilities. The higher the level of the minifigure the better it is. And the passive abilities will help in battles or with your collecting and building.
As you follow the story and travel the world there will also be piles of moving bricks, these can be built into something useful, a speed boost, signpost or even cannons and jumping platforms to help you move around. Bringing out your builder will make them go up pretty fast and you can swap between your 3 favorite figures whenever you want at the top of the screen.
There are also diamonds that you can find while you play, and these can be spent on anything in the game, from upgrading your characters to getting new minifigures. You will find them throughout the world and you can also buy them for real money too. Lego Minifigures Online also has a membership option which will give you weekly diamonds as well as a lot of other benefits too.
Throughout the game there are also opportunities for you to find new minifigures for you to use and own as well. These can be found in Pocket Dungeons, from big bosses and if you are really lucky from the things you smash in the world around you. It is possible to collect all of the figures as well though it will take a bit of time. But when the game is so much fun to play spending the time is not really a problem.
